About
Hugh is an Adjunct Assistant Professor within the Emergency Management and Resilience Planning Program at the University of Illinois Chicago’s School of Public Health. Drawing from his public safety experience in the military, civilian law enforcement, the federal government, and the private sector, he is able to deliver material in a way that has real-world application.
Outside of UIC, Hugh works as a Critical Infrastructure Specialist for the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and is the Operations Officer for the 182d Security Forces Squadron within the Illinois Air National Guard. Lastly, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Criminal Justice with a Concentration in Intelligence through the University of North Georgia.
