As a joint program offered by both the UIC School of Public Health and the UIC College of Business Administration, the UIC Emergency Management and Resilience Planning certificate distinguishes itself from graduate programs at other institutions. The multi-disciplinary curriculum is taught by a combination of public health and business school faculty members, the Argonne National Laboratory and professional business continuity planners. The knowledgeable and skilled faculty members have numerous years of experience both inside and outside the classroom, including expertise in various industries, such as IT risk and business management; public health emergency operations; and urban emergency management.
